It's been too long!

Well, shortly after my last blog, Twins season struck me hard. Busted my ass staffing and making sure everything was running smoothly. Shortly after THAT, I got called into Mr. Boss's office for a talk. Apparently I was not bringing in enough outside entertainment. So he was bringing in someone else and I was being downsized. AKA working one day a week, still doing the scheduling (NOT a one night a week job), and picking up whatever wait/bar shifts I could scrape up. That was in mid-May. The day after I got the news, I handed in my keys. Forget it. After 3 years, no way.

Anyhoo, after 3 days of pity party on the couch and too much ice cream and vodka cocktails, I started making phone calls. Right away I was called back into my old job in the pizza industry. In September, I will be the GM of if you know me, you know where. Very Harry Potter of me to say that, but it's the internet...

Things are going well. I'm knitting a lot again, working days (whee!), and while I'm running into a lot of customers that I rather disliked, I'm running into more that I had forgotten how much I loved and adored.

The first photo was after Mr. Rocket performed his first official wedding ceremony. We have both been ordained and my first ceremony is coming up in September. Mr. Rocket looks slightly shell-shocked...

The other photo was taken of a baby blanket I knit for a friend of mine that was shown at Art-A-Whirl in Minneapolis, along with some legwarmers and a purse. I was pretty proud!

Lots of other stuff going on. I just have to start blogging again!
